Christmas festivities

We prepared as much as we could for the celebration of Christmas on the cul de sac. We saw the church Christmas play and tried to rest a little during the week that Nonna and Poppa Earl have been here.

Santa's elves were busy at work...We cooked as much as we could the night before and then called it a night.

Merry Christmas!!!
After breakfast we were busy opening gifts... at some point we had to take a break because CJ3 had so many to open but needed a nap. We had a house full for dinner.

Christmas is in the air...

Fun to be had by all on a rainy and wintery day...

We had planned to go to Zoo light and dinner with the Nickens/Gunn...but the weather wasn't cooperating with the plan. So instead we had dinner at Bullfeather (very yummy...need to go back just for dessert) and then made our way to National Harbor to see what they had for festivities.

Nags Head.... Relaxation

November... thanksgiving love
We made what has become our annual pilgrimage to Nags Head, Nc. A week of relaxation and tons of food. We always have a few good card games played and lots of day time naps. We encountered a little bit of rain during the week...but that just meant a few more naps were taken through out the house. CJ3 had a really great time with the girls and started talking a bunch more. It looks like we may have a Ralph Lauren/Polo model on our hands.

The Christmas tree...

Dec 23, 2013
We got the tree up with some help from CJ3.... he hasn't really been interested in it until today... he managed to take a few ornaments off a toss them...

spending a little quality time with Nonna....showing her how to use the phone. He has gotten really savvy with the ipads and iphones... I think he believes they all belong to him.

Celebrating J Davis in a big way!!

Happy bday J!!!
We had a wonderful evening and were truly blessed by the fantastic and generous invite to the Inn at Little Washington
